God didn’t intend for us to go through life alone. Instead, he’s called us to come together as believers and encourage each other in our spiritual walk and day to day life. If you want to grow your own relationship with Jesus Christ, then you need to surround yourself with people with the same goal.

Here at Huntington First, we strive to have a variety of ministries that will meet your needs no matter where you are. To get connected with the leaders of these groups, contact the church office.

Thrive Groups

Thrive groups are the perfect opportunity to grow in your faith. They create an opportunity to study God’s word together and learn how to apply it how you’re living right now. Together with other believers, you can share struggles and pray for each other. You can create a real connection to others. It doesn’t matter your age, where you are in life, or your spiritual maturity. Whether you’re a new Christian or one who has followed Jesus for years, Thrive groups are great for everyone.

The Primetimers group is for anyone 55 and up! The goal is to create a close knit group that can fellowship and enjoy the company of fellow believers. They take periodic trips to fun locations, plan weekend retreats, and have dinners at the church.

Women's Ministry

The purpose of the Women’s Ministries Group is for all the ladies associated with our church to become united in love and devotion to our Savior, and to grow in love and commitment to each other. They enjoy the fellowship with each other at their monthly meetings on the third Tuesdays of each month. These are hosted in different homes each time, and usually consist of a devotional and food. They also go on two annual retreats, which are usually in March and September. This allows them the privilege of getting to know each other more and learning how to be more committed to their Christian walk with God.

Men's Ministry

The men's ministry exists for all men in our church, young and old alike. The goal of this ministry is to create close relationships that will help those involved grow closer each other and God. They have monthly breakfast meetings together, as well as occasional outings.
